Trust the band, not a point. We publish the range our model gives and the assumptions behind it, and we never collapse it into one confident-looking number. Where a real rank exists — your card, or a released round result — we drop the estimate entirely and use the fact.

The raw material is, yes, and we say so on every screen. What is not free is your time: last season MCC and the state authorities published over four hundred round-wise files, in inconsistent formats, on shifting dates. Seatpath is the reading and cross-checking of those files, done in advance, kept current, ordered for your rank and category. If you enjoy doing that yourself, do it — the free tier will still help.

Because we are not doing what an agent does. We do not fill your forms, we do not sit with your family, and we do not promise a seat. We turn public data into a decision you make yourself. That is worth a few hundred rupees, not a few lakh, and pricing it honestly is the point.

No. If you follow your plan and receive no allotment in any round you were eligible for, we refund the full amount after the final round closes, automatically. You do not file a claim; we can see your rounds.

Never. We do not ask for your counselling password, we cannot log in as you, and we will not offer to. Seatpath produces the ordered list; you type it in on the official portal yourself.

Both. The pass includes AIQ and every state authority you are eligible for by domicile, plus deemed, ESIC and AFMS pools where they apply to your rank.

No. We do not sell, rent or share your details with colleges, coaching institutes or agents, and there is no advertising on Seatpath. That is partly why the pass is not free.

It is the best time. Everything except the exact rank can be set up now — category, domicile, budget, what you would accept — so that on result day you get a plan in minutes rather than starting from zero during the registration window.
